Adobe’s Snakebite Ad Warns Us Against Bad Customer Experience

Adobe’s latest ad “Snakebite” shows the value of delivering a good customer experience.

The spot features two friends on a hiking trip, when one of them is suddenly bitten by a snake. His buddy tries to access a medical website on his phone, but he comes across a series of problems – mobile ads are popping up, he has to sign up for a newsletter, then download an app and so on.

In the meantime, his friend’s condition gets worse.

The ad finishes with the line, “How’s your customer experience? We can help.” followed by the Adobe Marketing Cloud logo.

The ad was created by agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners and it’s the latest in its ongoing “Do you know what your marketing is doing?” campaign for Adobe.

Like its predecessors, the ad comically portrays the disastrous consequences of not managing one’s marketing properly.
