Milan based communications agency, 150UP puts creativity at the service of digital campaigns.
Throughout the streets, the eye is caught by the advertising posters, the buildings and the people that Davide Colla, the founder of the agency finds the inspiration . His world is in Milan but this has not always been the case. For years, it was abroad that he tried to stimulate his creativity working in the bars of London and Seville and one day, he needs to redo the menu of a restaurant where he works by chance. The game that turns quickly into passion. He commented, “The result was not very good but I found what I wanted to do in life.”
Then, he enrolls in the IED (European Institute of Design) in his hometown and will make his first professional experiences as a designer in Germany. He will return to the Lombard capital a few years later as a freelancer.
150UP was born in 2013 of an idea, that of giving a name to what I did, to gather all the projects on which I worked. We are an agency that wants to give its customers a comic, more studied communication. We draw out experiences and play with the media that the market gives us or by inventing new ones.
Synergy serving different sectors
“A Republic based on ideas” is where 150UP takes care of all digital communication projects.
Every media has its language and communicating with each other is our mission. I think the best thing we do is transform big projects, big visions into very simple messages. And for that, the agency has surrounded itself with the best possible team. Each member is specialized in a specific area. Figures that complement one another and form a synergy without equal. Because within its walls, nothing is done alone. 150UP is a place where people can express themselves so well humanly and professionally.
We share, we exchange, we create microteams here, where each person has a problem to solve and eventually finish the puzzle together. A puzzle guided and always driven by a strong, powerful idea, the keystone to face and develop each new project, each new challenge. We work with customers from different sectors and with them we look for the most innovative technologies. This diversity pushes us if necessary to cross these areas, to bring them together. This allows us to be always proactive and never passive towards them.
Similar to Italian quality but also abroad
We worked with a customer who was always pushing for a functional product to his ideas. We, dress our customers, without changing their personality, and like that, we’ve completely reversed the way we work, eliminating presentations and working only with workshops. The result is a synergy satisfies everyone. A project that led them to win an Awwward and an Indigo Award in Tokyo. Sounds Like Fay (Tod’s Group) or Working Spaces for Pedrali are also part of the pride of the agency. Sharing different achievements in careful communication strategy and aesthetics that reflected the wow that our client’s communication. Taking this approach abroad is one of the fundamental steps that the studio wants to take on today. I would like 150UP to be seen as synonymous with quality, not only in Italy but at the international level.
