Toronto Digifest 2017 will take place on 27th- 29th April at Corus Quay, the Toronto headquarters for Corus Entertainment, located on the city’s waterfront.
Digifest is a three-day conference located on Toronto’s waterfront that focuses on the future of education, creativity, entrepreneurship, gaming, and technology; organized by George Brown College.
The event connects the creative community with the most innovative technologies, ideas, and initiatives focused on learning, leadership, and positive social change.
This year’s edition of Digifest will highlight stories of innovators using unique technologies to address global problems under the theme of Work, Learn, and Play.
Digifest presents the fifth annual Student Showcase at Digifest from April 27 to 29th, 2017 at the Corus Quay in Toronto. This year’s showcase will focus on “Research & Business”, bringing together the most innovative cross-disciplinary collaborations between students and industry across North America.
Digifest 2017 is currently searching for some of the brightest minds and biggest ideas for inclusion in the Interactive Zone: an exhibition that will focus on projects, products and performances that are working to expand the interactivity of our day to day lives.
In the Interactive Zone, leading ideas and technologies will break the mould of how we work, learn and play.
IT’S A START Pitch Competition
IT’S A START is an exciting and interactive pitch competition taking place at Digifest 2017. Pitch your business, convince the judges of its value, and wow the crowd in 5 minutes, and you will have the chance to meet with investors, win thousands in cash, incubation space, and mentorship.
Digifest is now accepting submissions for the Interactive Zone, Student Showcase, and It’s A Start Pitch Competition.
