Starbucks Date Campaign: Meet At Starbucks

Starbucks and Match will host the World’s Largest Starbucks Date with the “Meet At Starbucks” feature, on February 13.

The “Meet at Starbucks” feature is the first branded-product feature that allows Match users to directly send an invitation to set up a coffee date. Using the “Meet at Starbucks” feature, members can can also find a location for their Starbucks date using the Starbucks store locator.

This year, Starbucks and dating site Match are making it easier for singles to couple up at coffee shops. Match members will now be able to use the “Meet at Starbucks” feature to more easily reach out and make that first coffee date. Additionally, on Friday, February 13, in participating Starbucks locations around the world, customers are invited to join the World’s Largest Starbucks Date.

For Valentine’s Day, Match’s mobile app will include a section called “Meet at Starbucks”. Match users who click on that button can email one another and meet up at a nearby Starbucks. According to the coffee company, this feature will help people “more easily reach out and make that first coffee date.”

Starbucks and Match partnership makes sense, with 30% of Match.com’s 3 million users listing “coffee & conversation” as an interest.
