The Netflix VR App Works With Daydream VR Headsets

Netflix’s newest VR app allows users, who own the Google Daydream View headsets, into their movie-streaming service to view 360° video content.

Netflix VR is a standalone mobile app which works with VR headsets, including the Google Daydream View and Oculus Rift. With the Daydream headset, your room is transformed into a mountainside chalet or a private theater.

However, Netflix VR is not so different from the standard app; instead of a welcome message, you enter a room which contains red chairs, sofa and a few little lamps, and you can choose your favorite movie from a digital TV that contains the standard Netflix selection screen.

Here are some pictures of what the chalet-room look like:

The Daydream version of the platform looks similar to the one that was previously available for Gear VR. Basically, the VR gadget puts you in a simulated cabin with a widescreen TV in Netflix comfort.

Unluckily, this is not an available platform for offline downloads, since the app is separate from the main mobile Netflix app for Android, you also have to sign in separately.

This is one of the most winter-compatible experience for the holiday season. You can launch Netflix VR via Google Playstore.

Consider this your personal cinema; have your popcorn and drinks ready because in a short while, you might get addicted.
