Mobile Engage 2015: The Connected Future

IAB Mobile Engage 2015: The Connected Future will take place on Thursday 14 May at the Mermaid Centre in Blackfriars, London.

The conference will celebrate the power and effectiveness of mobile connectivity as well as define the limitless opportunities it offers for brands.

IAB Mobile Engage 2015: The Connected Future will step up a level – taking delegates on a journey of discovery by showcasing the art of the possible across devices and give marketers insights on how to leverage mobile, including what to expect from the Internet of Things.

The Internet Advertising Bureau, IAB has revealed the line-up for its sixth Mobile Engage conference, with The Guardian’s head of technology Jemima Kiss, and Unilever SVP of global marketing Marc Mathieu among the first speakers confirmed for the event.

Other confirmed speakers are Google country director for the UK Peter Fitzgerald; Twitter sales director for the UK Dara Nasr; and James Chandler, global mobile director at Mindshare.

IAB chief operating officer Jon Mew revealed the internet of things has already emerged as one of the key themes for the day.

Mew said;

Mobile Engage is a mainstay and a hub for mobile and tech developments. This year’s full day conference will celebrate and showcase all that mobile has to offer, with a strong focus on the power of connectivity and what’s possible with the internet of things. With mobile now responsible for over 20 per cent of all digital ad spend and smartphone penetration now at 78 per cent in the UK, the full day conference will also educate and inspire attendees to make the most of the connected future.

The Drum will be supporting the event this year as the media partner.
