An Account Manager at Ayima is so much more than a middleman. • Act as the key point of contact for account planning, setting external agendas, creating plans and scheduling
• Support business development by assisting with pitch preparation and attending meetings
• Develop excellent client relationships at all levels by displaying a positive, enthusiastic approach in all client contact (meetings, events, etc.)
• Client Management to include setting up tasks in the project management system, ensuring individuals are aware of timelines and liaising with clients for billing information
• Knowledge of client portfolio, SWOTs and maintaining client organisational charts
• Manage the relationship between your clients and all members of the respective Ayima teams
• Develop an in depth understanding of your clients’ businesses and that of their competitors, including marketing activity that is being carried out both on and offline
• Work with team members to develop integrated marketing campaign strategies and activity plans that use channels effectively and that will achieve campaign objectives
• Proactively assist with the development of presentations, reports, strategies and other documentation for clients
• Prepare cross-channel project plans and roadmaps and ensure that clients’ expectations are managed should these need to change
• Deliver campaign activity presentations and regular results presentations
• Carry out post campaign analysis to report against KPIs and build learning into future campaigns
• Ensure that calls and meetings are scheduled and followed up appropriately
• Ensure client contracts and Statement of Works are accurate and up to date
• Understand the commercials on each account within your remit and identify potential issues
• Resolve any queries raised by finance regarding invoicing and ensure that clients’ budgets are fully reconciled
• Identify potential upsell and cross sell opportunities for clients, plus other opportunities to increase their ROI
• Work with other members of the Ayima team to increase Ayima’s visibility in the market place and encourage new business
• Act as a brand ambassador for Ayima at all times


• Digital marketing experience, preferably in a digital agency
• Excellent understanding of all digital marketing channels, and in particular SEO (including off-page SEO, link development risks and penalty recovery planning), PPC and Paid Social
• Good understanding of UX and Conversation Rate Optimisation
• Commercial awareness of projects through timesheet management and where appropriate highlight issues to relevant contacts
• Confidence to present at internal and external meetings
• Understanding of Content Management Systems, site architecture and responsive design
• Understanding of online campaign planning and management
• Excellent Project Management skills, with demonstrable experience of managing all phases of the project lifecycle
• Experience of writing and delivering presentations and strategies
• Experience of dealing with people at all levels, both internally and within client organisations
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Attention to detail
• Numerical and analytical
• Proactive, motivated, self starter
• Some existing knowledge of HTML, CSS and PHP is an advantage but not essential
