The Cannes Lions Festival, a.k.a the Oscars of advertising, is here in an event to award and celebrate creativity. With the attendees list comprising of game-changers, innovators, revolutionists and gliterrati from the world of advertising, this event is a global meeting place for the advertising community to network, meet and celebrate big ideas.
The Lions Innovation is a specific two-day event within the Cannes Lions Festival that focuses on technology and data. As the world gets more technical, so does the world of advertising and marketing.
Techdept., an innovative marketing technology agency in the UK, will be taking over the stage on 26th June, Friday at 4:30pm with a special event series for the crowd called The Tech Off, a debate over who is driving the future – Creatives? or Coders? The website is now live!
Techdept. is sure to cause a stir and keep the stage warm in The Tech Off which will comprise of three speakers – a coder, a designer and a creative, all battling for a one-of-a-kind Coders VS Creatives Champions belt by winning the hearts of the audience. Each speaker will be given 7 minutes to have their say & the audience gets to choose the winner.
But wait, there’s a catch! Before the audience decides the winner, a Wildcard – a speaker from the audience, will be picked up to take the stage and have his\her say, after which the question of who will take home the glory – creatives or coders, will be answered.
The audience will get to cast a vote over who they predict will drive the future, the coders or the creatives. Their polls will be tallied and the results will be announced at the event.
